Anyone building arches and columns trims hundreds of necks per installation. Scissors tire your hand, and a loose blade ends up cutting the wrong balloon. Here the blade sits inside the shell and only shows through the slot. The balloon goes in, comes out trimmed, and your fingers never touch it.
It fits in an apron pocket and works without letting go of the material in your other hand, which is the real posture of an installation.
